Now that it's daily 100F here in Inland Southern California, my comfortable riding window is much narrower. Either early morning or early evening. Still warm in the evening, so that leaves morning as the only comfortable time. Finally got around to making it happen after thinking about it all week. Wake up at 5:30. Make an espresso, pump up the tires, out the door @ 5:55. Spin around the hills till 6:45, then zip back down (topped out at 40.4MPH!) to be home by 7:00 when my spouse leaves for work. Worked out great and really enjoyed it. Will see if I can make it happen more than once!
