Couldn't agree more.  Light, smooth and really fast.  I struggled with the 
Stampede Pass vs. Barlow Pass decision thinking thinner would be faster. 
 The group and Jan Heine's articles leaned me toward the Barlow Pass and I 
couldn't be more thankful for the advice.  I've been riding around some 
construction in LA the past few days where everyone appears to ride plastic 
(OK, carbon) bikes with skinny tires.  I've been breezing past as these 
people tenderfoot their way around the construction.  Even the BP 
extralight's cruise right through it all without a worry.  Amazing ride 
quality and good looking to boot!
