are you gonna be using the rail? if so, i dont think the saddlesack medium will fit in, though without the rail, it probably is a nice wide support. my saddlesack is great, but there are so many rear specific details that i dont think i would want on a front bag. flap that opens the wrong way, dowel support area, leather covered bottom, straps and d-rings. i like the idea of a saddlebag up front, but with the medium's sheer size, i'd be inclined to keep it on the back. ultraromance or one of those guys put a carradice on the front and it looked natural. top loading/ synch liner/ removable dowel/ slightly smaller size and easier to smash down when not full.
