The Shimano XTR 970 9 speed cassette (224 g) is $270 for another example. IIRC, only the largest 4 cogs are Ti, where with Action Tec, all are Ti, and replaceable.
Both are pricey, but if your budget allows, Action Tec has some nice goodies. For the budget conscious, the Sram PG-980 (382 g) gives great service and goes for only $69. The XTR costs $1.27 for each gram you save. That's more than Kobe beef, I think.... ________________________________ From: Dustin Sharp <dsh...@runbox.com> To: rbw-owners-bunch@googlegroups.com Sent: Mon, November 2, 2009 1:35:29 PM Subject: [RBW] Re: FS ActionTec Titanium Cogset 11-36 I agree, though compared to the almost $500 you can pay for a 2009 Campagnolo Super Record 11 Cassette, the ActionTec Cassettes almost seem like a bargain!
