Before you start tweeking your derailleur .And You might have to take your 
bike to the LBS for this unless you or a friend have a rear derailuer 
hanger alignment tool.

You just need to remove the derailleur ( with the chain intact) install the 
tool and with a wheel that is true check the distance at 12,3,6,7 9  
o'clock POSITIONS around the wheel.
