My order of 559 Sun/Ringle "Equalizer" rims (stupid name; the guys at the
bike shop kept hooting, "Equalizer! Equalizer!") finally arrived and I
picked them up yesterday. Very nice indeed, tho' I would prefer all silver.
At least the brake tracks are not anodized. (There is also a disk-specific
model.)

An honest 395 grams each, just as the catalogue claimed, so just half an oz
more than the present Sun M14As, but 21 mm outside instead of 19, which is
better for the 32 mm tires I like. And the Equalizers have eyelets.

I'll have Stevie build up a pair very soon, God willing.
