Thanks. I felt the same, but know that I want to give these tires a go on
some terrain that needs 'em, so the choice was no fenders or split fenders.
I didn't have a chance to give them a good test yet, save for a short
stretch on my commute where a paved path I normally traverse detoured onto
a stretch of tire sucking deep and loosely packed mulch - for some, a trap,
for me, a pleasant surprise.
