I keep going back to ye olde Adidas Samba. I was particularly into them when I still rode with clips 'n straps, as the aero profile of the shoe worked well in that regard. I'm sticking with them on platform pedals cause they're just great, comfy, minimal shoes.
I've been trying out the Evolv Cruzer lately too, also nice so far - albeit more flexible in the sole but likely will be cooler than the Sambas once the summa heat comes.
