The mirror I use and enjoy very much is the EVT Safe Zone Mirror. I couldn't get used to all the other smaller ones, couldn't stand the glasses mounted versions and hated the crappy images on most.
This one is easy to adjust via its arm of interlinked balls, has a large area that provides a view similar to what you get in a car and that is also clear and undistorted. If you whack it agains something it bends easily and can just as easily be bent back in position. It's not cheap, but so far, the only one I've been able to keep using.
