On the desk version, you can just select and delete any/all the quoted text 
when replying. Unfortunately I have not figured out how to do this when on 
a mobile device. It doesnt show the quoted text.

I totally agree that if answering a question, especially in a long thread, 
it's nice to include the query. But when entire posts are quoted with 
little to no relevance, threads get crazy tedious.
