3. Leave it on all the time. Honestly the original edelux senso seems to work just fine. But I'm a big fan of having the lights on all the time. I came to this conclusion when I was on a camping trip with another rider and his dyno lights were always lit; I could see his taillight in the distance and that kind of visibility nailed it for me.
