I have bikes with similar set ups, after changing from drop bars to Albatross bars on an All-Rounder I also changed the saddle from a B-17 to a Flyer (basically a sprung B-17). The upright seating postion works better for me with a sprung saddle, with drop bars I'm ok either way.
