God willing I'll spring for a new pair of (tubeless) wheels for the Fargo,
after Mark Chandler reported that his 55 mm-labeled Kendas measure 60 mm on
these 30 mm wide rims. Currently, my 50 mm-labeled Furious Freds measure 55
mm on my 44 mm SnoCat SLs.

I want a lighter wheelset than that composed of the ~700+ gram SnoCat SLs
with the 200 grams or so of Gorilla tape required to build up the bed for
the 200 gram 26" mtb tube-hack liner. Velocity claims 425 grams for the
Blunt SSes, and even if they are lyig, as they probably are, 200 grams less
than 750 or so will be welcome.

So, question to those of you who have used the Blunt SSes: are they sturdy?
Do you find that tires at least match their labeled width on them? Are they
reasonably sturdy? I don't do big drop-offs, but I do hit rocks and roots.
I'd be using 32 hole rims.

Are there other, wider 700C rims that weigh under 600 grams? (I use disk
brakes, so I don't need a brake track.)

Is the Velocity P 35 available in tubeless design? Is it still made? My
quick search turned up little on it.

Thanks.
