Aye, Tony. Snow makes an excellent teacher. It is infinitely patient, perfectly willing to offer the same lessons over and over till I learn them. Grin. Riding in snow gives great appreciation for why the Inuit have over 30 words for snow. Grin. Right now, I wonder what the word for "snow packed on the trail a foot wide that is solid for foot or bike but stray an inch off and tumble into deep powder in a spectacular spray of flying crusty snow and stale champaign powder and come to a guffawing stop in a much humbler position than you were moments before." Anyone know?
