All, I can't speak to the Half Zip but I have a pair of Large Long Underwear Botttoms (here we call them LJs) and they fit true to my 34in inseam and my 34inch waist. I have zero negative things to add about the performance. They have been a blessing this winter, I wear them under knickers with wool socks and that's all I have needed all winter in Wisconsin. They breathe better than any other Merino I have previously owned. A+ from this guy.
