Ride: I don't know from planing; never experienced it, AFAIK. I have bikes that feel "fast" and "sprightly" and that encourage a higher gear; the Ram feels this way. Others feel leaden, so to speak. This in my own experience does not correlate with tubing diameter or wall thickness, since heavy tubed and oversized tubed bikes have felt "sprightly". As for the Ram's ride: the signature Grant ride feeling is "secure in a straight line, but turns in 'intuitively' and without either hesitating or darting". The Ram handles like this, but it is slower to turn in than my customs (both of which have 26" wheels, and both of which define for me ideal handling). Also, the Ram seems to "wander" more than the customs when climbing slowly up steep hills while seated and pedaling a low gear. But the basic difference is that, while the Ram feels nimble and fast compared to other bikes I've ridden, it feels less so compared to my customs; and I end up riding the customs a lot more than the Ram. I'd probably be a happier man if I didn't nitpick about such things. On Thu, Mar 5, 2015 at 6:23 PM, lungimsam <[email protected]> wrote: > 1. Blue? > 2. What size? > 3.
