I had the very nice opportunity to ride with Chris Chance in Texas in 1984. He had a van with a bunch of bikes, and we did a bunch of riding. I was astonished by how nimble his bikes were, how much they felt like fast road bikes, in contrast to the very long and slack geometry of that period. Rocketships.
