Any Riv listers been to Amsterdam and or the Netherlands countryside in recent years and done some riding on rental bikes (sorry for the cross post if you're on iBOB too)?
We're going just after Easter/Passover with a couple friends and want to take advantage of spring flower blooms as one of hopefully several bike-mounted sightseeing excursions. City rides, countryside rides and access from train routes are of interest, not training for anything; sightseeing and enjoying the view from bikes enjoyably, casually. Rental recommendations of interest as well. Promise to document and post.
