I use the Avids and I like them. I do have one ergonomic issue with the levers. On Alba bars the position of the allen bolt used to cinch the levers to the bar makes it uncomfortatble for me to rest my hands on them. I end up holding either the grips or the bar above the levers, effectively losing a potential hand position. The bolt on the Shimano levers is oriented diferently, which avoids this issue. I do like the levers and haven't bothered to change them regardless of this issue. Next time, with Albas, I'll probably try something else. Jay
