Another solution is this little French widget. I got a bunch of these and offered them up on the Bob and RBW lists a couple of years ago. I only have one left, in anticipation of me being in this situation one day, otherwise I'd offer it up:

If you were able to source one of these, you could file the curved recess flat to fit the square section of the bridge.
