I have a 8g Ram 2013 MacMini hooked up to TV which accomplishes everything I need including photo editing (although I am a newbie to editing) btw I also have a iPad air which also works as a second screen for the mini if you want that capability, having said that I am considering selling both and getting a MacBook Pro or Air as I hardly use the iPad now that I have an IPhone 6plus which has replaced my iPad as my go to portable entertainment device.
