I agree with Tim. It's just as presumptuous to expect "unracers" to be into cyclocross as it is to expect them to be into randonneuring, or extended loaded touring, or even S24Os. It's a harmless presumption, but it's a presumption. If there's one thing that "unracers" seem to have in common is they like what they like, not what other people tell them to like or expect them to like. Maybe some of them drink the Riv koolaid and buy whatever Riv offers, but even that is a choice that some do and others don't do.
