Dry cleaning is expensive and relatively inefficient. In my experience, wool can be washed with cold water and a very spare amount of soap. You just have to be careful about drying it- I usually just lay it on a flat surface such as a table, and let it dry. You shouldn't have to wash wool as much as your other (cotton) clothing.
