Well, I just lucked into a great score: 650B pr of 45 mm Berthouds, so I have one pair too many of the SKS's. Question: which will go better with the Ram Blue, the standard grey or the cream? Any photos of either combination? My own opinion is the grey, but I'm somewhat color blind.* At any rate, I may have a pair of NIP SKS Longboards for sale in the near future. * I just had cataract surgery in my right eye. The results, thank the Deity, are more than satisfactory. What amazed me is not the mere improvement in visual accuracy -- the capacity to see detail at a distance; it is the tremendous increase in the quantity and quality of light, so that even with what had been my "good" eye, things appear yellow, as if in an old, faded sepia photograph seen through a dusty glass cover. The experience gives immediacy to the parable, "The eye is the light of the body: if thine eye be whole, thy whole body will be filed with light" and its intended analogical reference to the light of the "eye of the heart". I say, it gave this analogical parable a very concrete reality. I plan to get my other two eyes done too, God willing. (My color vision is still sub-par.)
