I share your experience of aging and changing riding habits. I have the b17 on the tandem and very early selle anatomica on the singles. The latter are noticeably more comfortable. Probably the slit and additional flex. No problem with over stretch. If that had happened I would have gone back to the co.. Don't get the single laminate version. Michael
