Thanks everybody. I forwarded the link to this thread and I'm sure it will help him make his decision. When I spoke to him last night, he had moved on (thanks to you) from concern over the tire/rim issue to one of geometry in the larger sizes. I'm going to bring him with me when I visit RBWWH&L to pick-up my custom. That should push him off of the fence.
