I have never been a tourist, commuter, or randonneur, but ever since I
first had a conversation with Grant at Riv Headquarters, I have been a firm
believer in Grant's bike designs. I am just a club rider that will do a
century if I am talked into it. My first Riv was a Ram in around 2003 or 4.
My back was killing me and a friend had just bought a Romulus ( complete
bike ), and I just got the idea that maybe I should give Rivendell a try.
Well, after Grant spending a fairly lengthy amount of time with me, I
walked out with a Ram frameset.
I currently own a Roadeo and it will be with me until I can't ride anymore.
It's obviously great that the Roadeo can fit such large tires, but the
bike's handling and geo allowing a fit that I need is such a plus.
On another note, the Roadeo has been around for awhile now. They must be
selling a few.
