The same thing happened to me, alas, but on the right side, too.

BUT: I was surprised to find in my stash a right side Silver shifter
complete EXCEPT for the little spring/prong/pawl that slides up against the
ratchets. If you still have that little thing you are welcome to the rest
of the kit that I have. To be clear, it contains everything except the pawl
and I may hold back the little plastic outer washer, but I assume you still
have that.

The shifter looks as new.

Note that in my case the shifter broke exactly at the little interior
indentation that holds said pawl, which is why it got lost, but perhaps you
were luckier.
