Bridgestone recalled a bunch of the XO forks- make sure the one you have isn't one of the "defective" ones before doing anything to the fork you just bought. I can't recall how to identify the new vs recalled fork is off hand- maybe someone else can. But it seems the problem was in the crown. Jc
