My wife and I did a self supported tour of Vermont in 2011 on our tandem using the Adventure Cycling Green Mtn Loop maps. We stayed in B&Bs each night. Vermont is beautiful and we had a wonderful, memorable tour. We were in great shape after the ride due to all the mountains we climbed. You are fortunate to live in such a beautiful state with great riding, although not sure about the winters. :-)
