Patrick - In your note you wrote " meet your esthetic standards...". I like the look of the Sugino guard, and have two bikes with them, and am ready to order a third. I don't care for the look of the bbgbashguard products (or most other guards), and will stay with the Sugino despite the price difference. I don't know if that makes me loyal or stupid - I have been called both, but I do like the look of the smooth polished Sugino.
