You've got drops and alba's... and it's a road bike so I'd go w/ M-Bars or
Albastache's. What kind of tire clearance did the older Riv's have? Seems
like you could possibly differentiate between your current two bikes and
the Road Std by going wider or narrower than your other offerings.
Drivetrain wise you've got fxd/free and derailleur covered... so you know
what you like, either duplicate one or maybe try out an IGH, one of those 3
speed fixed hubs or something like that.

I've got a bunch of bikes in the garage but the notional three bike stable
I think I'm driving (riding?) towards by function is;

-Cadillac... (Saluki) - go to bike, gets the best of everything, has a
couple different set ups from cockpits, racks and etc. hetres make it
'all-road' capable including most trails. Daily commuter primary but all
around main bike.
-Beater... (XO-3) - neighborhood short trips, singlespeed, lock up
where-ever. Possibly equip with studded tires for winter weather commuting.
-Wildcard... (rSOGN) - everything else, but exclusively as the fat tired,
knobby trail bike. Swap for the Saluki wheels/hetres and it's a light
weight allroad/rando.

Of course this is highly notional, the rSOGN just arrived yesterday and the
Saluki is in need of a new fork... good thing I've got the XO-3!!!

Enjoy your lovely dilemma!

One last thought, did you see the flat bar Rodeo from earlier this week?!?
That was a pretty sweet looking bike, not sure I'd dedicate a frame for
that purpose but it would be a fun build nonetheless...
