I made a similar change on my LHT, but with original Albatross. I had to go with a *way* longer stem, because the Albatross bars sweep back so much. I want to say it was like 10 cm longer. I was challenged, though, because the bike was too small to begin with at 52 cm (now comfy on a 56 cm Sam), and the steer tube had been cut too short. So I needed a longer stem, with lots of rise.
