I had a trip planned in 2010 to bike from NYC to Montreal with my wife.
Two weeks before the trip she was hit by a car and severely broke her leg.
4 years (and 3 surgeries later) we are going to do that trip..although
slightly differently.

This Sunday we will drive to the Lake Champlain region in VT with some
friends and bikes and cycle-camp for 4 days and nights around the lake, in
the lake, and east of the lake into VT.
Then we will head north to Montreal and wine and dine there for another 4
days.

I have a tentative route planned but am curious if anyone on the list has
biked around Lake Champlain or has any suggested excursions/routes that are
less pedestrian bike path and more incredible nature trail, hard pack or
pavement rides.
We plan on averaging about 50 miles a day…with plenty of time for swimming
and setting up camp.
Also, does anyone have any suggestions on rides in our just outside of
Montreal?

I'll be on my S.H. and She''ll be on a BG BLT.

thanks
Jason
