Thanks for the kind words. I've been having a blast riding the bike the last couple of days. It's very much reminding me of the explosion of excitement I had in the early 90s when I discovered what a nice mountain bike should ride like. That bike was an MB-2...still miss that biplane fork crown.
I have some Schwalbe Big Apples that will fit on this bike and I'm considering a switch to see how that changes the ride. The Ritchey knobby tires I have are 1.9".
