Ha! Yes, Michael and Patrick, Iowa's hills are neither the Greens nor the Rockies. But Iowa ain't Nebraska, either. (No disrespect meant to Nebraska, but dang! *That's *flat.) I will say, though, that the 2010 edition of RAGBRAI ascended a hill on the last day that defeated more than a few riders from the mountain west.
