I've been looking for the right bag to mount to my VO porteur rack and haven't found it yet. Last night I had the idea that a Riv saddlesack might just fit my needs. Has anyone used a saddle sack as a front bag? A medium saddlesack pretty much has the same footprint as my VO rack. I'm thinking if I secure it from the bottom with zip ties it will be pretty secure.
Any thoughts?
