Unless you dent the chainstays. I had a steel Diamond back that took 60 mm
tires with fenders and room to spare, and I used the Cyclotourist on it with
a special bb spindle, with a Q of only 160, and that was probably a good cm
more than I needed for clearance.

On my current Monocog 29er, I am running true 65 mm tires with fenders and
just barely enough clearance at the chainstay junction, but they fit. Q --
but it's a road Truvative with a single ring in the outer postion -- is 150.
