I think that's older than a 93. My 93 Burley Duet came with a 700c wheelset. I replaced the rear wheel with a Shimano HF-08/Sun Rhyno Lite/DT Swiss Alpine wheel, have 9 speed 12-36 with Deore M-591 rear derailer and Microshift R9 brifters. Also replaced front chainrings with new Stronglight ones I had shipped from xxcycle.com in France. Using a stem extender and 48mm Noodles. Still using stock front wheel. 700Cx32 WTB tires of some sort or another, just something I picked up on the cheap.
