Well the "tire thing" can make people crazy, so my impressions are in no way scientific. :) I am using the EL Compass versions and I did notice a difference. The Compass tires make the bike "feel" faster (I don't know if it is true or not, I don't use a computer) and they roll a bit easier on smooth pavement and seem to soak up the bumps better. I am in SE PA an the roads hear got beat up this past winter, so there are a lot of bumps.
I did switch out a set of Hyper's to try the Compass tires. I put the Hypers on another bike, where they were an upgrade, so I was able to justify spending lots of money on new tires I didn't really need. I do love them and they will be my go to tire from now on. On Friday, June 27, 2014 9:48:34 PM UTC-4, Chris Lampe 2 wrote: > > How would you compare the Hypers to the Barlow Pass tires?
