Not a commuted per se...I like panniers for off road adventures and a bit of single track from time to time and low riders don't work for me. Low hanging fruit sort of thing. The bottom of my panniers rub against rocks and low shrub. For the time being I'm using the heavy weight Surly nice front rack until I decide on a custom rack. My .02
