The gf and I have put a couple thousand miles on our tandem in the last year, including the Seattle to Portland ride. It's an '81 Santana, big beautiful fillet-brazed tank, rolling 27x1 1/4 on 48 spoke Phil wheels. It's a pavement only machine, though, or I will get punched in the back of the head repeatedly.
