Hey All! I picked up a beautiful 1985 Specialized Sequoia with pristine Suntour Superbe/Cyclone components. The bike is an absolute joy to ride and I'm making it my every day bike, but I feel guilty using these super high polish parts on a commuter. I've decided to box most of the original components and put on a more utilitarian group.
Please let me know if you have any of the following in your parts box! Quill stem 120 - 130mm, 25.4 Crankset - single or double road, matching front derailleur Nitto Albatross or similar upright bar Short Pull Levers Thumb shifters - friction/7/8 speed Commuter wheelset, 700c 130mm cassette I'm looking for quality, but ugly components - like old beat-up XT.
