I responded to your survey, but one thing you didn't ask about was CORNERING.
In my experience the Roll-y Pol-y wins hands down. When I'd lean into a turn on the 28 mm Pasela, I'd feel a disconcerting squirm -- so disconcerting in fact that I retired those tires after just a few rides.
