There's a whole lot of (customer-generated) value in that Strava
dataset... I too have mulled the idea of a platform like that,
blending ridewithgps with some social aspect (flickr). The difference,
of course is that here Strava just shows us footprints (er,
tire-tracks) and not which way/where they went. Much like gauging the
current 'Traffic' option w/ google maps.

The curatorial storytelling is what's missing from Big Data.
