There actually are brands that have a reputation for being "tackier" than others. If you have access to a Stihl dealership in the area, pick up a quart. I buy bar oil by the gallon, usually Ace, but then we heat with wood for our primary fuel, and the garage has almost as many chainsaws as bikes.
