I read your post earlier today and love it. It got me thinking about what I 
do when I'm cranking up a 10 mile hill. It's a great time for prayer and 
meditation for me, and I often pray the Rosary or the Jesus prayer and melt 
into the surrounding and the experience. I love all parts of the ride for 
the various experiences they offer, and once I figured out how to enter 
into the climbs that helped me love them -- very good thing given that 
time/mile is of course the highest on them! Grin.
