Nice concept, Richard.

My Riv Road Standard is probably somewhere between a San Marcos and a
Roadeo.  I've +1 stretched it into a country bike, which the 650b
conversion made possible.  I'm now +2 stretching it into a road touring
bike with panniers.  I feel I must see if the Riv can handle a touring load
before I start searching for a dedicated touring bike.

RJM:  the Betty Foy is a Sam mixte, according to Riv.  Where does that put
the Cheviot?  Is it more roadie or more off-roadie than the Betty/Sam?
