Thanks for the advice. I at least want some aknowledgement that some Rivs were 27.0 before removing material.
Also, altering the frame before I even ride it doesn't sit well with me. I'd rather invest the little money it takes to buy the Tange and go with that first. I crudely ground down the bridge of a cruddy fork once, and it was unnerving.
