Right! Dunlays on the Square around the corner is decent, too. But

Totally agree. I'm looking at the blue Chicago bike map, and though I
could find some serpentine path through the southwest side, I see how
it could be daunting. Going out of the way north or east to hit
better-known routes might be preferable. Either way, sounds like I
ought to get a bike out there to see for myself!
